The next of the Hive Seminars will be held on 14th February and will focus on copyright issues. To book, go to the Hive Seminars page on the Library website.
On the 21st February there will be a follow up discussion, facilitated by the Hive scholars, from 11.30 – 12.30 in the Hive, when there will be an opportunity to discuss the implications of copyright for us as doctoral researchers. This will not replicate the training already available through the library, but will be an opportunity to share our own concerns about copyright and IP. We might talk about issues we have personally encountered in getting permission to use copyrighted material, or concerns about sharing our research ideas on blogs or other social media.
It would be helpful if you could let us know that you intend to come to this discussion by emailing the usual address firstname.lastname@example.org.
