‘Getting to Know Mass Observation’ Workshop 28 January 2016, 12-13:30pm, The Library

image001Led by Tom Derrick of Adam Matthew Digital, the workshop will provide an introduction to Mass Observation Online as well as some of the other Adam Matthew Digital resources available through the electronic library. This includes: American Consumer Culture, Eighteenth Century Journals, Popular Culture in Britain and America, Slavery, Abolition and Social Justice. Participants will receive an overview of content and key features from Tom as well as having the opportunity to explore the resources for themselves.

The workshop will take place between 12 noon and 13:30pm and a sandwich lunch will be provided. It will require the use of a laptop/iPad. If you do not have access to either of these please do let us know as we can provide a limited number of iPads on the day. 
There are limited spaces on this workshop so booking is essential.
