For our final Doctoral Discussions session of the year, we have decided to focus on one of the aspects of the PhD that many people find most intimidating: the viva. As in previous sessions, we would like to put together an informal panel of doctoral researchers who have completed their vivas, and would be willing to share their own experiences.
Update: Speakers from Maths and Sciences would be especially welcome!
If you are interested in sharing some insight with doctoral researchers who are curious about what really happens in a viva, please come join the conversation!
Doctoral Discussions will take place on Tuesday, 31 May from 12 – 2pm. Lunch will be provided. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to be a part of this panel!
