For our final Doctoral Discussions session of the year, we have decided to focus on one of the aspects of the PhD that many people find most intimidating: the viva. We are presenting an informal panel discussion, featuring Sussex doctoral researchers who have recently completed their vivas. Come hear about their experiences, and get some tips on preparing effectively and overcoming nerves.
We will also be joined by Dr. Camilla Briault from the Research Student Administration Office, who will be there to provide practical advice around what happens after submission.
This session will take place on
Tuesday 31 May
12-2pm (lunch provided)

We are also still seeking one or two panelists, preferably from Maths and Sciences. If you would like to take part, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
